AVP Community Workshop

Conflicts will always be around
But we have the power to transform our response to them
. . .

The Alternatives to Violence Project will hold a weekend workshop focused on new skills to cope with violence, our own and others, and build community. This 21-hour hands-on program is about:

Affirmation
Respect for all
Cooperation and trust

This AVP workshop can help you:

*gain tools for your own use in home, workplace or community:
- conflict resolution that works
- assertive communication that doesn’t put anyone down
- non-violent problem-solving
- development of trusting community
*build successful personal interactions
*gain leadership skills
*learn how to facilitate similar workshops inside prisons and in your community

Neighborhoods win and community life is enhanced when we practice new skills to cope with violence and cooperate.
